Harapan Komuniti



Harapan Komuniti is a registered, not-for-profit organisation started in 2004 by Raymond Koh and two other directors. The organization's goal is to bring love, hope and peace to the poor,
needy and marginalised through training and education, counseling, crises & relief, HIV & AIDS prevention, shelter homes, single mothers’ support, youth and children programs.

Harapan Komuniti is a holistic development focused, community based, staffed mainly by volunteers and part-time helpers, and supported by concerned individuals or similar organisations/associations. Programs and services in Harapan Komuniti are provided freely, subsidized or at a nominal rate.
In January 2005, Bilik Bacaan (Reading Room) Inspirasi was opened in KL. The reading room is currently locateed in Taman Sri Manja and welcomes students of all ages, regardless of race, creed, and religion. We have plenty of books for any student and provide tuition as needed. 

The Mission: To provide a conducive place and learning opportunity for children living in the poor neighborhood to inspire success in life.

Other Programs and Services
1. Prison program providing seminars on HIV and drugs within West Malaysia.
2. HIV halfway home located in Klang that provides shelter, medication and rehabilitation for those infected and affected by HIV and AIDS.
